What You Bring to SBHGEducation
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
- Six (6) months housekeeping experience in a hospital, hotel, motel, or similar work environment preferred.
License or Certification
- Valid CPR certification required within 30 days of employment.
- Valid Pro Act certification required within 30 days of employment.
The Housekeeper has primary responsibility for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility. Duties include cleaning and disinfecting floors, furniture, fixtures, restrooms, and common areas; removing waste; replenishing supplies; operating and maintaining cleaning equipment; and ensuring compliance with safety and infection control standards. The position also assists with moving furniture and reports maintenance or repair needs as necessary.
