Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for a 95-unit residential apartment community in Fresno. This is a hands-on position responsible for maintaining the property, completing apartment turns, handling general repairs, and helping ensure the community remains clean, safe, and well maintained. We are looking for someone with previous apartment or residential property maintenance experience who is comfortable handling a variety of maintenance responsibilities independently.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Full-time

• Complete maintenance and repair requests throughout the apartment community
• Turn vacant apartments and prepare units for new residents
• Perform interior and exterior painting and touch-ups
• Complete drywall repairs and patching
• Handle basic plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, drains, and fixtures
• Install and replace light fixtures
• Install and replace GFCI outlets and complete basic electrical repairs
• Repair and replace window and door screens
• Perform general handyman and property repairs as needed
• Maintain clean and attractive grounds and common areas
• Clean four on-site laundry rooms on a weekly basis
• Inspect vacant units and identify repairs needed before move-in
• Maintain tools, supplies, and maintenance areas in an organized manner
• Follow property safety procedures and maintenance standards
• Assist with other property maintenance needs as they arise

• Previous apartment maintenance, property maintenance, or residential maintenance experience strongly preferred
• Experience with apartment turns and rent-ready preparation
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and general repairs
• Comfortable using common hand and power tools
• Ability to troubleshoot basic maintenance issues
• Ability to work independently and manage daily maintenance priorities
• Dependable, punctual, and able to communicate professionally with property management and residents
• Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with apartment maintenance work

Position Details This position supports an established 95-unit apartment community in Fresno. The ideal candidate will be well-rounded, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day maintenance needs throughout the property.
