Maintenance Technician - Assisted Living
Mustang Creek Estates in Frisco The is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician.
Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring our communities are safe, attractive, and operating within budget by attending to the community’s maintenance needs. Maintenance Technician may accomplish these tasks by having a working knowledge of all building systems and related code requirements, including fire protection and security, structural, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. The Director of Maintenance will also manage the preventative maintenance program at all campuses.
This position requires a team player with sound organizational skills who interacts positively with all team members in maintaining census by immediately preparing vacant rooms for new residents and by responding to and resolving customer complaints promptly.

Community Maintenance Support- Responding and attending to work orders as directed by the Director of Maintenance.
- Ensuring that all vacated rooms are thoroughly restored to “make ready” status in a timely manner.
- Be available to work on an on-call basis, including weekends and nights.
- Respond in a timely manner to requests and concerns from:
- Director of Maintenance
- Residents
- Family Members
- Team Members
- Executive Director
- Check the Maintenance Logs and Daily Log for any needs/requests for maintenance
- Touch up paint throughout the community
- Maintain the grounds; trash, sweep dumpster areas, etc.
- Perform any maintenance task necessary as outlined in the Maintenance Logs
- Perform and maintain Life Safety compliance at all campuses
- Maintain the key control of the community
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to act in a resident’s best interest
- Ability to act and supervise in a professional, courteous manner
- Ability to follow MCE policies and procedures
- Ability to attain the Mustang Creek Estates Team Member Characteristics

- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess or be able to successfully complete requirements as outlined by the MCE Driver Policy
- Ability to use Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple demands and prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a confidential environment.
- Possesses a solid understanding of systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and code compliance.
- Possesses a basic understanding of safety and fire codes.
