Role Summary

Cinemark Maintenance Employees repair and maintain the theatre, equipment, and property, creating a welcoming environment for our guests. Work typically occurs during non‑operating hours but may also take place during operating hours.

Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain theatre and property including tile, carpet, restroom fixtures, countertops, mirrors, walls, wall coverings, partitions, drinking fountains, minor plumbing and electrical work, office furniture, auditorium seats.
  • Keep Cinemark‑owned tools and supplies safely maintained, cleaned, organised.
  • Remove and dispose of trash, broken parts, and supplies from repair areas.
  • Clean and organise designated maintenance storage areas.
  • Inspect theatre to ensure cleanliness and working order for next day’s business.
  • Coordinate with the General Manager on items to be repaired/maintained and communicate needs for parts and supplies.
  • Maintain theatre keys and keep outside doors locked during non‑operating hours, guard against unauthorized entry, and coordinate vendor access.
  • Use personal protective equipment as required and adapt to cleaning task frequency and scope.
  • Monitor safety and security issues (trip hazards, lighting, suspicious persons) and report to management.
  • Perform other work‑related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Availability for flexible hours: early mornings, late evenings, weekends, holidays.
  • Regular and consistent attendance.
  • Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
  • Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate verbally and written with all ages, genders, and personalities.
  • Regular English communication and comprehension.
  • Teamwork and independent work ability, follow direction, sense of urgency.
  • Reliable transportation for parts and supplies.
  • Ability to maneuver in limited‑space areas, safely mix and dispose of chemicals per regulations.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent standing, walking, reaching; noise may be moderate to high.
  • Extend standing periods; stand for extended periods.
