Monday – Friday; 12:00 AM - 8:30 AM.

• Perform custodial duties in and around assigned buildings (classrooms, restrooms, offices, etc.) under supervision of the Custodial Operations Manager.
• Maintain a methodical and organized approach with high safety awareness, using PPE, and promptly responding to trip/slip/fall hazards.
• Provide excellent customer service, courteous to students, faculty, staff.
• Show dependability, reliability, and take initiative to complete tasks as needed.
• Support teamwork, share duties, and take ownership of responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Basic knowledge of custodial methods, materials, equipment.
• Ability to read/write at an appropriate level and follow verbal & written instructions.
• Ability to operate and care for custodial equipment and supplies.
• Experience with custodial systems (work order tracking, two‑way radio).
• Ability to perform regular physical activity, adhere to safety requirements.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative work relationships.
• Capability to safely move up to fifty pounds and hold a valid California driver’s license.
• Successful completion of background check.

• Prior commercial custodial experience in an educational environment.
• Training/certification in floor care equipment and products.
• Basic computer skills for logging into work order database, absence management, email.

Valid California driver’s license required.

Extended periods of walking, bending, stooping, reaching overhead, kneeling, climbing ladders, pushing/pulling carts; exposure to chemicals and dust.
