Maintenance Tech

MCC seeks a Maintenance Tech to care for our facilities so they remain safe, reliable, and welcoming for staff, volunteers, and guests. This on-site role performs preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems, equipment, and grounds, including basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks. The technician responds to work orders, supports event and office setups, and coordinates with vendors when needed.

Working in MCC's faith-driven, service-oriented culture, this position helps ensure our spaces effectively support global relief, development, and peace building work.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems, equipment, and grounds.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues or coordinate vendors as needed.
• Complete work orders, inspections, and safety checks in a timely, organized manner.
• Maintain clean, safe, and hospitable facilities that support MCC programs and guests.
• Monitor building systems, report major issues, and recommend repairs or upgrades.
• Ensure work complies with safety standards, MCC policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support event and program setup, basic moves, and space reconfiguration as requested.
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers, modeling MCC's faith-based, service-oriented values.
