Job Summary

Race Trac Company Overview

The Dedicated Advanced Service Technician is responsible for the continued maintenance and repair of Race Trac Travel Centers and EDO stores. This individual assesses, develops protocols, and maintains the appearance and operability of the store at all times.

• Resolve maintenance and service issues to ensure full operability 24/7, boosting company profitability.
• Perform daily pressure washing of store sections and treat stained areas with chemical degreaser.
• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, and other work areas, including interior pressure washing of restrooms.
• Maintain all trash on site during the shift.
• Execute tasks at a high level of skill with optimal customer service.
• Serve as a knowledge expert in HVACR, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, food service/beverage amenities, and petroleum dispensing systems.
• Accurately maintain tools, parts inventory, and equipment on site following policies.
• Provide project support to cross‑functional departments in store initiatives.
• Respond to ad‑hoc maintenance requests from store personnel as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of local and state facility service guidelines.
• Complete other work‑related duties as assigned and cross‑train with other ASTs.
• Follow all Race Trac Safety Policies and Guidelines.

Lift up to 50 pounds regularly, frequently up to 75 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds.

Push/pull with up to 100 pounds of force occasionally.

• General maintenance knowledge and repair procedures.
• Ability to use common tools and office equipment.
• Food and beverage equipment repair knowledge preferred.
• Fuel dispenser and pump repair knowledge preferred.
• Technical school training in HVACR or electrical preferred.
• Experience in a retail maintenance environment preferred.
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.
• 4+ years work experience preferred.
