High school diploma or equivalent with two years of relevant experience; or completion of ninth grade with three years of experience.

HPWT Custodial Worker II

• Clean and maintain all halls, offices, shops, classrooms, restrooms, conference rooms, labs, gym areas, locker rooms, elevators, including sweeping, dusting, mopping, spot‑mopping, floor reconditioning, and cleaning walls, doors, and partitions.
• Perform minor repair work on furniture, fixtures, floors, and plumbing; assist skilled trade employees in tasks such as preparing job sites, changing belts, filters, lights, and ceiling tiles.
• Complete light plumbing work including unclogging drains, repairing leaky fixtures, and cleaning up water leaks and spills.
• Maintain all floors and floor coverings through routine vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, sealing, and waxing.
• Clean entrances, walkways, steps, and concourses, as well as interior and exterior glass surfaces, ceiling lights, and blinds.
• Empty and clean waste cans, trash cans, recycle bins, water fountains, and doormats.
• Assist Maintenance Staff with painting, replacement, remodeling, construction projects, and other tasks assigned by the Maintenance Mechanic.
• Physical assessment and Class E driver’s license required.

5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (Monday through Friday). Shift times may vary for special event coverage or departmental needs; overtime may be required. Total hours per week: 40.

$16.00 hourly.
