Responsibilities- Cleans and maintains all halls, offices, shops, classrooms, restrooms, conference rooms, labs, gym areas, locker rooms, elevators, including sweeping, dusting, dust‑mopping, wet‑mopping, spot‑mopping, reconditioning floors, and spot‑washing/cleaning walls, doors, and partitions.
- Performs minor repair work on furniture, fixtures, floors, plumbing, etc., and assists skilled trades employees with job site preparation, belt/filter/light/ceiling tile changes, light plumbing tasks such as opening clogged drains, repairing leaky fixtures, and cleaning water leaks/spills.
- Maintains all floors and floor coverings, performing vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, sealing, and waxing.
- Cleans all entrances, entrance walks, steps, and concourses.
- Spot‑cleans and cleans all exterior and interior glass surfaces of assigned buildings; cleans ceiling lights and blinds.
- Empties and cleans all waste cans, trash cans, recycle bins, water fountains, and doormats.
- Assists Maintenance Staff with painting, replacement, remodeling, construction projects, and other tasks as directed by the Maintenance Mechanic.

Work Schedule:
5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (Monday–Friday). Workdays and shift times may vary for special event coverage or departmental needs; some overtime may be required. Total hours per week: 40.
Expected Salary: $16.00 hourly.
Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience; or completion of the ninth grade and three years of experience.
Preferred- High school diploma and two (2) years of commercial custodial experience.
- Mechanical aptitude and abilities.
Physical assessment and Class E driver’s license required.
