Locksmith

Spherion Gainesville, FL seeks a Locksmith to manage and maintain all door hardware, locks, and physical security.

• Salary: $18/hr - $20/hr DOE

• Repair, replace, and install doors, hardware, and locks.
• Provide lock and hardware strategy recommendations to project managers.
• Coordinate work orders with contractors, the Lead Locksmith, and carpenters.
• Procure locks, doors, and hardware.
• Maintain accurate database for hardware, locks, keys, and doors.
• Collaborate with suppliers for technical support, warranty issues, and staff training.
• Ensure ADA and Florida Building Code compliance for hardware, locks, and doors.
• Adhere to all recognized safety practices and standards.
• Comply with all rules, procedures, and governing laws and regulations.
• Provide courteous, professional, and accessible service excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

High School

1-4 years

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Master Keying Certification from a recognized trade school plus 1-4 years of related work experience. (Vocational/technical training may substitute for required experience.)
• Registered Locksmith status is preferred.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must possess a valid Florida Class E Operator driver's license.

• I am at least 18 years old.
• I am legally authorized to work in the United States.

Working hours:

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
