Job OverviewPlan, develop, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules for preventive, predictive, corrective, and capital maintenance activities. Review, prioritize, and coordinate work orders within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring accurate scheduling and resource allocation. Coordinate with maintenance supervisors, technicians, contractors, and stakeholders to schedule work, outages, shutdowns, and special projects while minimizing operational disruptions. Monitor work order progress, track completion status, update schedules, and communicate changes to affected personnel.
Analyze maintenance data and performance metrics, identify scheduling conflicts or inefficiencies, and recommend process improvements. Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment histories, labor utilization reports, and scheduling documentation. Assist with inventory planning and coordination of materials, tools, equipment, and contractor services required for scheduled work.
- Completion of an approved apprenticeship program for multiple trades and one year of appropriate experience, or a high school diploma and five years of appropriate experience. Vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate.
- State of Florida Class E vehicle operator (driver) license.
- Criminal background check and post‑offer health assessment required.
- Knowledge of advanced wastewater treatment principles, hand tools, computer use, and safety rules.
- Experience troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing industrial equipment such as electrical panels, pumps, motors, compressors, valves, actuators, sensors, meters, process control equipment, and computer programs (MS Suite, data management, SCADA).
- Reading blueprints, installing and maintaining electric motors, generators, and mechanical equipment.
- Ability to measure and use test, measurement, and control instrumentation.
- Walk to customer/trouble locations.
- Move or lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Climb, reach above shoulders frequently, kneel, bend, pull, and push regularly.
Scheduled 06:00‑14:30; 40 hours per week; on‑call and emergency work as needed. Position considered Essential Personnel.
Compensation$29.00 — $33.00 hourly based on experience.
