Position Summary:

The Janitorial Site Supervisor leads and coordinates janitorial operations at assigned facilities. This position ensures buildings are cleaned according to contract specifications, safety standards, and company policies. Responsibilities include supervising staff, assigning work, training new employees, maintaining equipment and supplies, inspecting completed work, communicating with customers regarding service quality, and performing cleaning tasks when needed. Supervisor is responsible for performing advanced floor care while overseeing a small custodial team responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-presented school environment.

• Perform all aspects of commercial floor care, including stripping, waxing, burnishing, buffing, scrubbing, carpet extraction, and floor restoration.
• Supervise and support a small team of custodial employees assigned to the school.
• Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed according to company and client standards.
• Train team members on proper cleaning methods, floor care techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
• Inspect completed work and provide coaching to maintain quality standards.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial floor care equipment.
• Maintain inventory of floor care supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Communicate with management regarding staffing, supplies, and operational needs.

• 3–5 years of commercial floor care experience is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in stripping, waxing, burnishing, buffing, carpet extraction, and hard floor restoration.
• Experience operating commercial floor equipment, including auto scrubbers, burnishers, buffers, and carpet extractors.
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate a small custodial team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work independently.

• Previous supervisory or team lead experience in janitorial or custodial services.
• Experience working in schools, educational facilities, or commercial buildings.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
