Field Service Specialist

The Field Service Specialist will communicate with rental customers and internal staff to coordinate service of equipment away from branch locations. The Field Service Specialist will dispatch field maintenance, assist in tracking costs, and input work orders.

What you will do...

• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with the following:
  • Communication with all customers, internal and external – including over the phone troubleshooting
  • Processing of field service work orders
  • Parts ordering
  • Coordination of outside vendors
• Coordinate and dispatch all road mechanics in a timely manner
• Ensure unparalleled customer satisfaction and raise customer issues to Maintenance Supervisor
• All other tasks assigned by Management
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

• High School diploma with experience in the heavy equipment industry
• Prior experience in the equipment rental industry within a service capacity

• Understanding of fleet maintenance
• Customer service resolution
• Ability to develop rapport with customers
• Interpersonal communication
• Technical Diagnostics
• Ability to safely lift 50 pounds frequently
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors as required
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including stretching, turning, twisting, and reaching overhead
• Ability to bend, crouch, squat, kneel, and stoop for extended periods
