Job Summary

As a Fiber Splicer, you will develop new skills, work in a safety‑mindful environment, and help expand technology for a better community. Join the Mas Tec family and help us provide the highest level of quality service while maintaining our commitment to safety.

• Produce end‑to‑end fiber optic networks.
• Testing and troubleshooting the continuity of fiber optic networks.
• Operate all testing equipment and resolve common challenges.
• Prepping fiber splice enclosures such as Tyco, Comm Scope, Corning, etc.
• Utilize fusion splicer, OTDR 1310, 1550, DWDM, CWDM, 945 OLTS, Max Tester, power meter.
• Apply fiber engineering knowledge of fiber design, documentation reading, light levels, and dB loss.
• Work in outdoor utility construction sites.

• Safety is part of your day‑to‑day.
• Track record of completing work with a high level of quality.
• Ability to solve hard problems and a hands‑on approach.
• Looking for long‑term projects.
• Enjoy getting hands dirty with your team.
• At least 3‑5 years of fiber splicing and troubleshooting experience.
• Comfortable working on a ladder or bucket truck.
• Flexible and enjoy variety of shifts with overtime.

: $25–$35 per hour.
