Why This Role MattersThe Janitor independently cleans restrooms, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, kitchenettes/pantries, showers, stairwells, corridors, elevators/escalators, and other work areas. Duties involve a combination of the following: sweeping, mopping floors; removing trash and other materials for recycling; dusting furniture or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; replenishing restroom supplies.
What You Will Do- Clean and maintain restrooms, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, kitchenettes/pantries, showers, stairwells, corridors, elevators/escalators, and other work areas.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture.
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment; polish metalwork and fittings.
- Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, and sills.
- Empty wastebaskets, transport trash to disposal areas, and recycle materials appropriately.
- Replenish restroom supplies as needed.
- Follow all safety standards and proper use of cleaning equipment.
- Maintain quality work and appropriate conduct in line with Didlake policies.
- Complete and maintain all required Didlake training.
Education & Experience
- High School diploma or GED, or
- Minimum of 6 months previous custodial or janitorial experience
Skills & Abilities
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
- Access to the work site for this position requires a valid Real .
