Allure of Lake Storey is seeking a dedicated and dependable Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. The Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Follow daily cleaning and work schedules as assigned

• Coordinate housekeeping services with nursing staff when cleaning resident areas

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, fixtures, and common areas

• Perform floor care including sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, stripping, waxing, and buffing

• Properly dispose of trash and replace liners

• Report all accidents or incidents to the supervisor immediately

• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and comply with HIPAA standards

• Use proper safety precautions when operating equipment and handling chemicals

• Mix cleaning solutions according to manufacturer instructions

• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Perform other duties as assigned

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Willingness to work cooperatively with team members

• Ability to interact respectfully with residents of varying needs and abilities

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required

• Ability to move throughout the workday

• Ability to manage mental and emotional demands of the role

• Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift at least 25 pounds

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds to a height of 5 feet and carry up to 50 feet
