** Primary Function
** The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer will assist members of the Facilities and Safety Department using a wide range of skills and abilities. Including but not limited to trouble shooting, repair, maintaining equipment and facilities.
** Essential Duties
*** Perform various daily housekeeping tasks, responsible for maintaining work and storage areas in a neat and orderly fashion.
* Perform other various administrative duties as needed, assigned and/or required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
* Maintains assigned vehicle, tools, and equipment to ensure availability when needed.
* Prepares written materials which documents activities and/or conveys information.
* Transports tools, equipment and supplies required for the job.
* Trouble shoots systems to identify problems in order to effect repairs.
** Supervisory Responsibilities
** This job has no supervisory responsibilities. This position has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned task.

* Operation of company vehicles to drive to multiple locations.

* Frequent lifting and physical requirements including but not limited too stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders, and ability to lift and carry heavy loads.
* Must be able to follow directions, communicate effectively, in both written and oral communications.
* Must be able to work alone with little or no supervision.
* Must work well with others, manage time effectively and efficiently, and be able to adapt to changing work priorities.

** Required Qualifications
*** Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent with 1 to 3 years of work related experience and/or education preferred.
* Uses proper methods for lifting and moving heavy objects.
* Proper use of common hand and power tools.
* Understands and uses safety practices common to building, maintenance, and construction.
* Understands practices, processes, and materials used in building, maintenance, and construction.
* Must be able to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and blueprints.
* Must have a current valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
* Perform routine maintenance on company vehicles, such as replenishing fuel and monitoring fluid levels.
* A hands free device must be used when making phone calls while driving.
* Must abide by ALL traffic laws and regulations while operating a motor vehicle for business purposes.
* Texting, consuming alcoholic beverages, and other illegal activity while driving or in the possession of a company vehicle is prohibited.
