Dry Stack Driver
The Dry Stack Driver employee's responsibility is to safely and securely stack and unstack customer boats.
The position requires the team member to work five days per week and eight hours per day according to the schedule agreed upon with your manager. Marina operating hours range from 5:30 a.m.
- 8:00 p.m. and seasonal schedule changes may take place at management discretion.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Act with the highest level of integrity and maintain a positive attitude
- A good general knowledge of boats, boat-handling, knots and splices, etc. Preferably with appropriate certificate of competency.
- Experience in boat hoist, dry stack, and similar operations
- Experience in driving a forklift or willing to learn to operate a large forklift
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, early mornings, and evenings
- Strong passion for providing excellent hospitality and customer service
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all marina operations to be able to assist at all times
- Adaptable to work composed of a variety of different tasks
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time despite interruptions
- Ability to make independent decisions and determine the appropriate course of action
- Professional conduct and excellent interpersonal and communication skills with team members, customers, tenants, vendors, and government personnel
- Strong work ethic and personal commitment
- Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team, department, and company goals
- Ability to be a self-starter and work independently
- Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Adaptable to a fast-paced environment
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Carry up to 50 lbs
- Work around water
- Work in tight spaces
- Work at heights of up to 30 feet
- Stand, walk, sit, push, pull, climb, bend, kneel, squat, twist, reach, grasp
