Blue Water is a fast-growing hospitality team creating guest experiences at RV resorts, campgrounds, hotels, and attractions. We offer opportunities to contribute to a variety of outdoor and guest-facing roles across our properties.

This is a Work Camper Role. Must have own RV and live on property. No conversion vans.

A Groundskeeper’s responsibility is to perform a variety of landscaping and outdoor maintenance activities, such as trash cleanup and removal, site maintenance, landscaping, and light electrical work (breaker and outlet replacement, fixture replacement and repair). This role ensures that all external areas, including sites and communal areas, are well-maintained.

• Provide manual labor to support the campground’s opening activities, including basic carpentry, painting, and cleaning.
• Prepare the grounds daily as necessary, including picking up visible trash from the front entrance and around the property/grounds.
• Maintain designated areas of the property.
• Include activities such as site cleaning, lawn maintenance and care, trash pickup and removal, and arranging furniture or fixtures.
• Maintain flower beds and other trimmed landscaping.
• Keeps work areas and storage areas well-maintained and clean.

Some responsibilities can be trained depending on other experience.

• Vacuum pool as necessary (mostly done by robot vacuum).
• Hose off pool deck and furniture daily.
• Test chemicals in pool and maintain as required.
• CPO (Certified Pool Operator) Certification is not required but highly desirable.

• Operates small handheld manual or power equipment for basic lawn care, such as weed whackers and hedge trimmers.
• On rare occasions, may use larger equipment such as tractors, backhoes, or forklifts.

• Provide excellent guest service to help move or position furniture or fixtures.
• Provide directional support or guidance to guests through the property to help them reach their site.

• Work cohesively with guest service, housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to exceed guest expectations and achieve company and departmental goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide regular and reliable attendance.

• Adhere strictly to health and safety rules and be aware of company practices.

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• At least 1+ year of hospitality experience in groundskeeping (required)
• Working knowledge of lawn care equipment and machines (required)
• Forklift certification is a plus, not required
• CPO certification is a plus, not required
• Ability to stay on task and work independently
• Interest in providing exceptional guest service
• All-Hands-On-Deck mindset (required) — No job is "+"not yours to do".

• Movement:
  Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; frequently climb or balance.
• Ability to lift:
  Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally 75–100 pounds with team assistance.
• Vision:
  Close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
