Maintenance Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance assistant to join our team at Garden Valley Retirement Village. This role is vital in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents and staff. Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of the building, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff to address repairs and safety concerns
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment breakdowns and ensure operational efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and facility policies
- Assist with setup and breakdown of equipment for special events or activities within the facility
- Collaborate with management to plan and prioritize maintenance projects
