Maintenance Technician - Reserve at Moonlight

Overview

Maintenance Technician for The Reserve at Moonlight, a 294-unit community located in Gardner, KS (near Olathe, Spring Hill, Overland Park, Lenexa, and DeSoto).

• Complete work orders and perform general maintenance for the community
• Maintain the community appearance to quality standards, including trash pickup, cleaning buildings and amenities
• Identify maintenance needs and liability hazards and report to the Manager
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and coordinate make-ready actions based on direction from the manager
• Perform repairs and replacements necessary for occupancy
• Work occasional/special schedules and be on call as required
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

• 2+ years of general maintenance experience
• EPA universal license for HVAC required
• CPO license preferred
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electrical systems, and all major appliances including washer and dryer
• Experience with turnover "make-ready" of apartments
• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred; college-level/trade school preferred
• Basic computer proficiency preferred
• Bilingual is a plus

Will be exposed to activities requiring intermittent standing, bending, crouching, pushing/pulling, lifting/moving/carrying light and heavy loads, and climbing stairs and ladders.
