Facilities Technician

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Facilities Engineer for a leading technology infrastructure client supporting a large-scale 42-acre campus with a 36MW load in Garland, Texas. This individual will be responsible for coordinating facility maintenance and vendor activities, ensuring the day-to-day operation of commercial buildings remains efficient and well-maintained. The role will focus heavily on vendor management, break/fix repairs, plumbing, landscaping, building maintenance, and work order management through a CMMS platform.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on facilities experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage third-party service providers while supporting a dynamic and fast-paced operational environment.

PR: $20-22/hr

• 2-3+ years of facilities maintenance experience
• 2-3+ years of practical experience in a skilled trade
• Vendor management and coordination experience
• Experience with building maintenance and break/fix repairs
• Knowledge of plumbing, landscaping, and general facility operations
• Strong communication skills with vendors and internal teams
• Experience in office building, hotel, or commercial facility maintenance environments Data center campus experience
• Mechanical systems exposure (non-critical infrastructure)
• Experience supporting large-scale campuses or commercial properties
• Familiarity with approved vendor programs and contractor oversight
• E-Maintenance or CMMS experience
• Facilities Engineer or Facilities Technician background
