Ballpark Cleaning Crew Member

The Kane County Cougars
, a proud member of the American Association of Professional Baseball, are seeking Cleaning Crew members to join the team. This seasonal position (mid‑April through mid‑Oct) involves maintaining the cleanliness of the entire stadium on gamedays and at non‑game events. Time management is extremely important in this demanding, fast‑paced work environment.

• Clean and maintain all areas of the facility including seating bowl area, concourse, Outfield Decks, Upper Deck Suite Level, Press Box, restrooms, Box Office, parking lot, Music Garden, and Kid Zone.
• Cleaning includes sweeping, vacuuming, and cleaning windows.
• Sweep and pick up trash and continuously empty garbage bins before, during, and after games.
• Operate trash compactor.
• Hose the seating bowl, concourse, and Outfield Decks.
• Clean the inflatables in the Kid Zone.
• Maintain a clean Front Office, Atrium, Security & First Aid Offices, including restrooms, trash, vacuuming, mopping floors, and atrium stairs.
• Participate in the organization’s safety commitment by ensuring proper signage in wet areas; floors must be clear of slip/trip hazards.
• Clean and stock all restrooms with necessary supplies (soap, toilet paper, paper towels) pre‑game, during, and post‑game.
• Replenish sanitizer and sunscreen stations throughout the park as needed.
• Respond and resolve any cleaning issues promptly during the games.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire length of shift.
• Frequent reaching, twisting at the waist, bending, squatting, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull equipment such as mops, brooms, trash containers, and hoses.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and trash compactors.
