, the FLHSS&E Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the FLHSS&E Manager in ensuring the safety of the establishment's staff and customers. The FLHSS Assistant Manager reports directly to the FLHSS Manager
.
As FLHSS&E Assistant Manager
, here is a non-exhaustive list of tasks related to the responsibilities of the position:
- Ensure the safety of property and people by enforcing hotel regulations and strictly complying with the law.
- Coordinate and manage contracts for security guards who work night shifts (external company).
- Coordinate external companies that perform maintenance on security systems.
- Manage hotel access for all suppliers.
- Perform regular building patrols.
- Ensure security for certain events.
- Ensure the proper use of collective and individual protective equipment.
- Comply with and enforce health, safety and welfare rules (knowledge of procedures, emergency exits).
- Check the use of various ‘hazardous’ products within the hotel.
- Apply, coordinate and enforce OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) rules.
- Manage service providers responsible for water analysis and food sampling.
- Proven experience in security within a luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.
- Fluency in English;
French or another European language is a plus.
