Janitor - Part Time

• Clean and maintain the building and grounds, including sweeping, mopping, polishing floors, and removing trash and debris.
• Dust equipment, furniture, fixtures, and polish metal trimmings and other surfaces.
• Clean lavatories, showers, and restrooms.
• Operate floor buffer, scrubber, and other cleaning equipment as needed.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and empty trash in daily tasks across different building areas.
• Clean glass doors, windows, and entrances.
• Monitor building security and safety by locking doors after cleaning.
• Notify management of repair needs and perform other assigned duties.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to comprehend basic written and oral instructions.
• Good customer service skills and ability to cooperate with others.
• Good personal grooming and a clean, orderly work area.

Regular standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, kneeling, bending, and crouching. Occasionally required to sit, crawl, lift or move supplies up to 50 pounds, climb a ladder, and use power tools. Close, distance, and depth vision required.

Occasional exposure to outdoor weather. Noise level usually quiet to moderate.
