The Basics

    Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, subject to possible minor changes in the future
  • Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Execute preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and repair activities through the facility work order system in a safe, compliant, and timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain critical facility and production systems including autoclaves, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, water purification systems, tablet presses, and other manufacturing equipment.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cleanroom environmental systems using the Building Management System (BMS).
  • Support facility operations across approximately 40,000 square feet of manufacturing, warehouse, laboratory, and office space.
  • Ensure facility systems remain compliant with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance spare parts, tools, and supplies to minimize operational downtime.
  • Respond to equipment alarms, facility emergencies, and system failures with urgency while following established escalation procedures.
  • Participate in Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) initiatives and promote a safe working environment.
  • Assist with equipment installations, facility upgrades, renovations, equipment moves, and construction preparation activities.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors to ensure maintenance and project work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
  • Support procurement activities, including identifying parts needs and initiating purchase requests when necessary.
  • Author, revise, or support development of maintenance documentation, preventive maintenance procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Participate in an on‑call rotation and work overtime or weekends as needed to support business and maintenance requirements.
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing tasks, and manage multiple maintenance requests effectively.
  • Strong documentation practices with attention to detail in an FDA‑regulated environment.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across operations, quality, engineering, and external vendors.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and professional facility environment.
Required Credentials
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical trade school, certification, or vocational training preferred.
  • HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance certifications strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of facilities maintenance, industrial maintenance, or related technical experience.
  • Experience working with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or facility work order systems.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety requirements, and quality standards.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, move, push, or pull up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work in mechanical spaces for extended periods.
