Assistant Service Manager – The Summit Lofts is an integral role that will oversee the maintenance and operational efficiency of our residential community. You will be responsible for managing repair, maintenance and service requests to ensure resident satisfaction and the overall upkeep of the property.

Responsibilities
  • Repair and enhance the community by addressing plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry and painting needs, with on‑job training provided.
  • Act as a creative problem‑solver, managing time well and learning quickly.
  • Respond promptly to service requests, collaborating with teammates and prioritizing work to build resident trust and satisfaction.
  • Monitor apartment vacancies daily and initiate the turnover process, including painting, cleaning and repair.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, safeguarding equipment with regular tune‑ups to extend its life and reduce costly repairs.
  • Inspect the property daily for cleanliness, safety and curb appeal, addressing details that support resident experience.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of hands‑on general maintenance experience.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
  • Rotating on‑call responsibility for after‑hours emergencies.
  • Valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation.
  • EPA license preferred; required EPA Universal or HVAC certification will be covered if selected.
