Upfit Technician II Coordinator

About the Role:

As a Upfit Technician Coordinator , youare tasked towork on a variety of different components. Activities include, but are not limited to, ordering parts, tracking down shipments, making sure the team have the parts that they need.

• Advanced mechanical and 12v electrical skills with welding experience
• Truck body or equipment manufacturing repair and ability to troubleshoot / problem solve with minimal supervision
• Capability to work off scaffolding up ten to twelve feet.
• Must have a current driver’s license.

• To perform a variety of semiskilled manual duties requiring knowledge of techniques, tools, equipment and safety precautions.
• To adhere to and enforce the general safety plan.
• May berequiredto do other duties as requested.
• Primary job duty is safety of the team, the quality of the product, and the overall production goals.
• Ensures work is performed at a quality level consistent with Wabash standard practice.
• Supervised by supervisor, generalforeman,manageror department head.
• Good attendance is critical, andcoordinatorisrequiredto report all absences directly to supervisor.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime.
• Work towards and for aOneWabash.
• Training of new employeesonsafety and responsibilities thereof.

• Requires minimum of5hours standing,walking,bending, squatting, kneeling, with a full range of body mechanics/movements
• Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work in an environment requiringuseof stairsand climbing in and out of trucks or working in tight spaces.
