Pool Technician

Description

Schedule:

Sunday - Thursday 6:30AM - 3:00PM.

• Performs routine maintenance of filters, pumps, heaters, and other mechanical equipment related to operation of swimming pools and hot tubs according to established schedules.
• Ensures that routine back washing of filters is performed on a scheduled basis.
• Inspects pools and equipment rooms to ensure efficient operation.
• Ensures that all water chemistry testing is performed and meets set standards.
• Applies chemicals to balance pools as necessary.
• Maintains and makes repairs to equipment used in the course of work.
• Brushes and vacuums pool to keep debris, bacterial growth, and marks off the floor and walls.
• Maintains daily pool records as required by the Health Department. Reports safety and fire hazards.
• Establishes a helpful relationship with members and agencies in the community.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Pool Operation certification (can be acquired once hired).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75lbs.
