Job Purpose

The Housekeeping Supervisor supports daily cleaning operations by guiding housekeeping staff, coordinating task assignments, assisting with inventory, and ensuring all spaces meet cleanliness and sanitation standards. This position requires leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with other departments to maintain exceptional member experience.

Hours:

Friday 5pm-12am;
Saturday & Sunday 3pm-10pm

Required Professional fluency in English and Spanish

Operations
  • Support and oversee daily housekeeping activities for the entire facility, including locker rooms, studios, pools, common areas, and administrative spaces.
  • Assist with recruiting, training, supervising, scheduling housekeeping staff, payroll, and ensure efficient and thorough cleaning coverage.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and address issues promptly.
  • Monitor cleaning supply inventory, ensuring products are stocked, stored properly, and used efficiently.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance and Operations teams to coordinate deep cleans, special projects, and seasonal needs.
  • Assist in coordinating all laundry operations, including collection, washing, drying, folding, and distribution of towels and linens. Maintain laundry equipment, ensuring proper functioning and scheduling service as needed.
  • Ensure all cleaning procedures adhere to safety protocols and meet company standards.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to members or staff concerns related to cleanliness and sanitation.
Department Strategy and Planning
  • Monitor daily supply consumption and notify the Hospitality Supervisor of supply inventory restocking, report orders as needed.
  • Follow inventory procedures and ensure supplies are used appropriately to support cost‑effective operations.
Professional and Technical Knowledge
  • Ongoing Club Fit Training through 1huddle Learning Management System:
    • Bloodborne Pathogens (annually)
    • Emergency Response Protocol (ERP) (bi‑annually)
    • Sexual Harassment (annually)
    • Cyber Security (annually)
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in housekeeping or a related supervisory role, preferably in a large facility, hospitality, or health club setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team.
  • Ability to safely operate commercial cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA standards, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and Company policies.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Operate commercial cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, vacuums, carpet extractors, and other powered housekeeping equipment.
  • Safely handle and work with cleaning chemicals and disinfectants while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Work in environments that may be wet, humid, or contain cleaning odors and chemicals.
  • Ability to work independently and respond quickly to operational needs throughout the facility.

Pay Range

$23-25.50/per hour, part time approx 21 hours per week.
