Job description:

• Coordinating & coaching Tier 1 manufacturing (TM) activities as a first line supervisor in GA maintenance to meet section’s goals (PM, Downtime, Skill Level).
• Follow HMGMA shift rotation plan based on sales & production plan (3 shift or 4 crew + 2 shift rotation, including holidays; final rotation TBD).
• Carry out and report status of assigned tasks at beginning, during, and conclusion (troubleshooting, PM activities, and other requests from superiors).
• Provide full support for urgent equipment requests (night, weekends, holidays).
• Ensure compliance with Safety & Environmental guidelines while performing any maintenance activities.
• Obtain pre‑approval from direct management before using personal leave.
• Support all levels of management to encourage good teamwork (meetings, events, collaboration).
• Perform other related duties as assigned by department management, including tasks outside the regular daily scope.
• Manage daily PM activities based on the PM system (Manpower, Plan‑Results, PM Quality) to maintain stable equipment operation in each shop.
• Manage team training and development.
• Provide breakdown management support and reporting to improve shop MTTR/MTBF performance.
• Coordinate, approve, and report improvement ideas from TMs to resolve any issue.
• Maintain spare parts inventory, team centre, and training room.
• Communicate with AM to supervise and control conflicts and support team member issues.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Serve as a mentor for all shop members to encourage continuous improvement.

• More than 6 years of maintenance experience in an automated industry.
• Experience managing more than 8 team members, minimum as a team leader.
• Electrical & mechanical troubleshooting experience (PLC, power circuits, inverter & motors).
• Technical college graduate in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Stamping maintenance experience at major automotive manufacturers.
• Robot & hydraulic system maintenance experience (Fanuc robots).
• Stamping system maintenance experience (500 tons or above).
• Servo tandem press experience with NC cushion.
• Rockwell PLC and HMI programming/troubleshooting.
• Domestic / international travel required.

Language proficiency:
Strong command of the English language (written and spoken) is essential for safety, communication, documentation, and collaboration across the organization.

• While in office: primarily sedentary; occasional lifting of office supplies up to 15 lbs; frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and handling documents; ability to sit, stand, and walk as needed.
• When in production area: standing, walking, bending, reaching for extended durations; repeated lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of materials and products up to 25–30 lbs; manual dexterity for handling power tools, machinery, or production equipment; working in environments that may be noisy, hot, or require PPE; ability to climb ladders or stairs and operate equipment safely; capable of learning and working on multiple production processes;
  
  adequate visual and auditory abilities to identify safety hazards and communicate clearly; consistent and punctual attendance; ability to collaborate and perform effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
