Maintenance Supervisor

A growing manufacturing operation in the Millen, Georgia area is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations on 2nd shift. This position is responsible for supervising maintenance personnel, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting production through effective troubleshooting and preventive maintenance programs.

This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong electrical and controls experience, including Allen‑Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting
, as well as expertise working with 480V, 3-phase industrial systems

• Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians on 2nd shift.
• Prioritize and coordinate maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated production equipment.
• Program, troubleshoot, and modify Allen‑Bradley PLC systems.
• Diagnose and resolve controls‑related issues involving PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, and automation equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, safety, and productivity.
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and lockout/tagout requirements.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities with production leadership to minimize downtime.
• Maintain maintenance documentation, work orders, and equipment records.
• Assist with capital projects, equipment installations, and process improvements.

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Lead, or Maintenance Manager in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Allen‑Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting

• Proven experience working with 480 Volt, 3-Phase electrical systems

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and technical drawings.
• Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, controls, VFDs, and instrumentation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

• Technical degree, industrial maintenance certification, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with continuous improvement, TPM, or reliability‑centered maintenance programs.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience supporting high‑speed manufacturing or automated production environments.
