Minimum Salary: $23,217.75 / Annually

Maximum Salary: $33,573.00 / Annually

• Valid Georgia Class C Driver's License (Preferred)
• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree or equivalent (Required)
• Industrial or commercial cleaning experience (Preferred)

• Ability and willingness to learn and proficiently perform custodial care skills and tasks in GCPS Custodial Care Program and other general practices.
• Ability to hear, understand, and follow oral instructions given in English.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions in English at least 6th grade level.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an assigned custodial team.

• Perform assigned cleaning and custodial tasks as per GCPS Custodial Care Program schedule.
• Use approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment per GCPS Policies.
• Maintain custodial tools and equipment in a clean, sanitary, and safe condition.
• Open and secure assigned facilities or ground areas as instructed.
• Suggest alternative cleaning practices, products, tools, or equipment to improve efficiency.
• Maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with team members, facility staff, and other GCPS employees.

Employee must stand, walk, negotiate stairs, climb ladders, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear; manipulate tools and small items; lift up to 50 pounds; operate a motor vehicle. Must have close, distance, and color vision. Employee may be exposed to wide range of temperatures, humidity, electrical, heat, noise, elevated equipment, chemicals, and solvents.
