Maintenance Planner Technician
Location:
Dawson, GA (Oil Division) This is a full-time, hourly W2 position.
Schedule:
7:00am until released. Typically 4:00pm. Will work overtime, weekends, and be on call as needed. PAY: $32.00 per hour
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities.
- Perform regular inspections of production equipment and performing preventive maintenance duties
- Assist the Maintenance Manager with PM optimization activities
- Creating work orders for various maintenance tasks, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
- Assist the Maintenance Manager with planning and coordinating plant-wide shutdowns when required.
- Managing spare parts inventory and coordinating with the stockroom or procurement.
- Using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, asset history, and maintenance records.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, documentation, and asset performance metrics.
- Ensuring that all maintenance activities adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
- Respond to requests to address and diagnose operation mechanical problems where equipment is not operating correctly.
- Maintains good housekeeping and completes sanitation duties and paperwork as required.
- Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned by management
- Disassemble, repair, replace, rebuild, and install mechanical equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications
- Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of maintenance processes, equipment, and systems.
- Organizational and Time Management
Skills:
Excellent ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and coordinate resources. - Communication and Collaboration
Skills:
Effective communication with various stakeholders and the ability to collaborate effectively. - Computer Literacy:
Proficiency in using CMMS software and other planning tools. - Safety: A strong understanding of manufacturing safety standards and the ability to become a SME on ADM safety standards.
