We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian / Janitor to join our facilities maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Duties include sweeping, mopping, floor care, carpet cleaning, bathroom sanitation, and kitchen area upkeep. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina and a commitment to cleanliness.

• Perform daily janitorial and custodial tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, restock supplies, and maintain overall hygiene standards.
• Maintain kitchen and breakroom cleanliness, ensuring all surfaces and appliances are clean and sanitary.
• Empty trash cans, bag waste for disposal, and transport trash to designated dumpster areas.
• Operate and maintain custodial equipment such as floor buffers, carpet shampooers, and vacuum cleaners.
• Follow all safety protocols and cleaning procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report maintenance issues or supply shortages to the appropriate staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

• Clean background is required.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or facilities maintenance is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and proper equipment use preferred.
