Job Description

The Technician - Service 2 is responsible for working on various vending/fountain equipment.

What your day will look like:
  • Performing mechanical service on cold drink equipment
  • Installing mechanical components
  • Customer interaction
  • Inventory control
  • Microsoft Office/Mobilizer
  • Maintain Company vehicle
  • Cross training
  • Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management
What you need to succeed:
  • Minimum age 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
  • Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
  • Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
  • Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
  • One-year certificate from college or technical school; or 24 to 48 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A minimum of 2-4 years knowledge of Cold Drink Equipment or appliance repair needed. Ability to read wiring diagrams, repair manuals, and use a Multi‑Meter
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
  • Basic Equipment Service Training (BEST)/ Automated Beverage System (ABS)/ Advanced ABS/ Hot Beverage and Coca‑Cola Freestyle (CCFS) training with a passing mark through approved Coca‑Cola North America (CCNA) instructor
  • Refrigeration Certification Type 1 required
  • Knowledge of electrical theory and practical applications
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve to respond and resolve any customer issues
  • Ability to work with all functional team members
  • Microsoft Excel knowledge preferred
  • Use hand and power tools
