  • Take proactive measures to prevent spills, leaks, and equipment failures.
  • Perform housekeeping and basic site maintenance, including pads and lease roads.
  • Operate and maintain central production, storage, and compression facilities.
  • Train, delegate, and review work performed by lower‑level operators as assigned.
  • Interact professionally with landowners and coordinate with Foremen or Landmen when escalation is required.
  • Respond promptly to facility and well‑level alarms.
  • Utilize SCADA systems to monitor operations and make informed operational decisions.
  • Review daily production data to ensure accurate reporting of rates and pressures in field data systems.
  • Exercise sound judgment when spending LOE funds within assigned authority.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of oil and gas experience; production operations experience preferred.

  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and operate safely during overnight hours.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Experience using operations management systems such as SCADA and Merrick/Evin.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and email.
Physical Requirements
  • Regular exposure to mechanical systems, chemicals, loud noise, and outdoor conditions, including heat, humidity, and inclement weather.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment and materials using appropriate body mechanics.
  • Constant physical activity requiring strength, coordination, dexterity, and stamina.
