• Ability to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, as part of regular duties or as directed.

• Proficiency using business computer systems and applications—specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project Management.

• Ability to troubleshoot problems with machinery without supervision.

• Experience documenting predictive/preventive maintenance charts, technical data, and other data; interpret data for process improvement.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English (bilingual in Spanish preferred).

• Must be able to bend, stoop, reach overhead, climb ladders, and use lifts; ability to climb stairs up to three flights and work at heights with scissors or bucket lifts.

• Experience working cooperatively with others and maintaining professional relationships.

• Willingness to receive cross-functional training and assist other functions as needed to achieve business objectives.

• 3+ years of maintenance, facilities, or related industry experience.

• Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and operate advanced technical equipment.

• Knowledge of PLC systems and CMMS systems.

• Formal training or certification in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air compression, PLC, or HVAC trades.

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility or with related equipment.

• 5+ years of electrical knowledge and electronics principles.

• Advanced degree or training in engineering, maintenance, or related field.

• Advanced formal training in lean or six sigma.

• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
