Where You Will Work

Located approximately 50 miles northeast of Safford, Arizona on U.S. Highway 191, Morenci operations (an open-pit copper mining complex) has been in continuous operation since 1939. The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed‑ore leach pad and stacking system, a low‑grade run‑of‑mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.

Responsible for ensuring that all Motel rooms are cleaned and organized.

• Change and wash sheets
• Dust all rooms: TV's, dressers, nightstands, and window sills
• Scrub toilets and showers
• Keep station clean and organized
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Zero to twelve (0‑12) months previous related experience
• Must have basic cleaning and organizational skills
• Must be able to effectively read, comprehend, and apply verbal and written instructions and procedures
• Must be a self‑starter and capable of working independently with minimum supervision

Preferred

• High School diploma or GED

Criteria/Conditions

• Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety‑related instructions and procedures given in English
• Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
• Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
• These responsibilities require the ability to walk for extended periods of time and use hand tools
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, lift up to forty (40) pounds, bend, twist, and stoop on a frequent basis
• Ability to work in all types of weather
• Ability to work in all types of environments to include noise, dust, heat
• Willing and able to work a 12‑hour shift schedule or other shift as assigned
• Ability to share job responsibilities and be flexible with work schedule and start times
• Ability to participate in a high performing team environment
• Ability to communicate and interact with other teams

What We Offer You

The estimated pay range for this role is currently $16.00 - $20.50/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job‑related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
