Custodian - Buckskin

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, orderly, and well-maintained facility. This position performs routine cleaning, sanitation duties while ensuring that the building and surrounding areas are presentable.

• Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean floors and surfaces.

• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.

• Clean and restock restrooms and other supply areas.

• Clean windows, glass, doors, fixtures, and other building surfaces as needed.

• Monitor cleaning and restroom supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.

• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure it is stored properly.

• Report safety hazards, damage, maintenance concerns, or unusual conditions to the appropriate supervisor.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities experience required.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively.

• Ability to safely use cleaning products, equipment, and tools.

• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.

• Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving supplies or equipment.
