Description: Under the direction of a supervisory official, performs varied simple and moderately physically strenuous tasks involved in cleaning and maintaining offices, conference rooms, classrooms, labs, furniture, buildings and grounds. Uses cleaning machinery, buffers, vacuum cleaners, and has knowledge of cleaning chemicals. May assist in minor repairs to buildings or equipment; collects and disposes of trash and recyclables; cleans restrooms, kitchens, floors, carpet, blackboards, etc.

Replaces light bulbs. Also handles setup and breakdown, snow removal and related duties. Includes floor work such as stripping and waxing floors and carpet cleaning.

• Monday through Friday, 10:00pm-6:30am.
• The successful candidate must be able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime hours when required.

• Preferred Experience:
  
  Previous experience in inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of furniture, fixtures, offices, and buildings.
• License:
  Driver’s license valid in New Jersey if operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties.

• In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is IFPTE:
  Range 9 Step 2 $ 38,958.11, with placement within the range determined by qualifications, experience, internal equity, and other factors.
