What You'll DO:
The Regional Facilities Manager supports the Director of Facilities by overseeing maintenance, repairs, safety, and vendor operations across multiple fitness clubs. This role ensures facilities remain clean, safe, functional, and aligned with company standards while delivering an exceptional experience for members and employees.
Duties & Responsibilities /
Essential functions:
- Oversee building maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections.
- Ensure fitness equipment, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, audio/video systems, and other facility assets are properly maintained.
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, and maintenance schedules.
- Maintain cleanliness, appearance, and safety standards throughout club facilities.
- Communicate upcoming maintenance activities with club teams and members.
- Conduct regular facility walkthroughs and inspections to ensure company standards are met.
- Identify and resolve safety concerns promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, inspections, and preventative maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate equipment inspections following member incidents.
- Recruit, train, coach, support, and provide oversight for Maintenance Technicians.
- Provide clear direction, accountability, and performance feedback.
- Promote teamwork, continuous improvement, and a culture of excellence.
- Partner with the Director of Facilities, General Managers, technicians, and vendors to address facility needs.
- Complete structured monthly facility inspections and follow up on corrective actions.
- Ensure clubs consistently meet standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and member experience.
- Promote a positive and welcoming environment for members, employees, and visitors.
- Support special projects, including new club openings and operational initiatives.
What You Will NEED:
- Experience in health club, commercial facilities, or maintenance leadership preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong teamwork and customer service mindset.
- Experience managing vendors, contractors, and maintenance teams.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Knowledge of maintenance trades preferred.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, climb, kneel, crouch, and perform hands-on maintenance tasks.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to work with standard office equipment and maintenance tools.
Work Environment:
This position will require that you work in the clubs daily. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Travel:
This position requires daily presence in fitness clubs and regular travel between locations across a multi-state territory. Local travel during business hours is expected, with occasional overnight travel as needed.
