As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. You will make an impact by ensuring a safe and clean environment for members and associates, performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with Company Environmental Sustainability Program.

Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following Company steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to management.

Clean all areas of the facility (e.g., floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment according to Company procedures and guidelines.

Maintain appropriate levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store chemicals properly, and place orders to replenish supplies as needed.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
