Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Role Purpose
Manage maintenance technicians’ daily work and schedule work orders in CMMS for the group. Manage CMMS to include building PM job plans, creating assets, building labor accounts, and managing the critical spare parts inventory module. Manage TPM Program to include scheduling and driving TPM Equipment Improvement Meetings with support from Operations and Engineering groups with primary goal of extending asset life, improving machine performance and reduction of scrap.
Responsible for the development and implementation of maintenance activities in production areas to ensure equipment can meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives. Prioritizes maintenance schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply. Directs subordinates to achieve assignments using established maintenance guidelines, procedures, and policies. Interacts daily with subordinates and/or functional peer groups. May interact with subordinate supervisors, outside customers and functional peer groups at management levels.
Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects/schedules, etc.
- Plan and manage movement of equipment for building expansion.

- Manage spare parts inventory and work with Vallen to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Lead and direct the maintenance team in servicing, repairing, and maintaining production equipment.
- Ensure the proper functioning of all production machinery and equipment.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Train and mentor junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Comply with all safety and health regulations.
- Coordinate with other departments for equipment availability and planning maintenance activities.
- Work with Production Control to schedule equipment PMs to minimize impact to production.

- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field preferred, other education or comparable experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 3+ years equipment maintenance experience, 4 years in a leadership role.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, machine repair manuals, and related written instructions.
- Word, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, CMMS, BMS systems.
- Aptitude in using various hand tools, precision measurement tools, and multimeters.
- Excellent ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
- TPM program management. Ability to lead team to track OEE and spindle utilization to drive increase in LOM and improvement of FPY for a reduction in discrepant materials rejections.
- Experience performing maintenance on production equipment, machine monitoring systems, and DNC.
- Knowledge of machinery, hydraulic, electrical, and other systems, and their components.
- Automation experience is not critical but would be preferred.

Salary and Benefits
The range for this position is $80,750.00 - $ assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
