Lead Custodian, Elementary School (Night)

Oversees and performs a variety of custodial duties to clean, maintain and secure assigned school facilities. Essential functions may include performing and/or leading the work unit, supervising entry level personnel, coordinating and scheduling tasks, training new custodial employees, cleaning, dusting, mopping, sanitizing, restocking restrooms and kitchen areas, performing final security checks, performing minor maintenance repairs, and being available for emergency calls.

Knowledge of applicable statutes, cleaning chemical preparation, leadership, management, supervision, and effective working relations is required. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and two years of relevant custodial experience. Other requirements include possession of an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, a valid Arizona driver license, and the ability to lift and carry heavy supplies and equipment.
