In addition to being a Level 1 Trauma Center, the facility also includes a heart and vascular center, state-of-the-art surgical suites and a new Emergency department.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the day to day operations as it pertains to all general maintenance, basic plumbing and electric house calls. You will have the opportunity to provide both preventative and corrective maintenance to the facility while working on a team with high focus in customer service and collaboration. Schedule:
Sunday through Thursday working 11PM to 7:30AM at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center. Enjoy an 18% night shift differential!

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing basic building maintenance preventative and corrective work to the facility. Building maintenance activities include but are not limited to general fire alarm systems, beds, TV's, plumbing, medical gas outlets, nurse call pneumatic tube system, elevators, furniture, fixtures and equipment. Works with and assists other trades in completing required tasks. Some locations may have responsibility for other duties which might include security, groundskeeping and snow removal.
CORE FUNCTIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma/GED OR Equivalent and working knowledge of small project managing skills.
Facilities or departments, depending on business need, may require proof of a valid driver's license and eligibility for coverage under the company auto insurance policy. Requires two or more years of diversified work experience as a maintenance technician with demonstrated maintenance or related skills.
Must be able to exercise independent decision making and judgment in the performance of all duties. Requires the ability to work safely and effectively with maintenance equipment. Must be proficient in reading and understanding related and required maintenance…
