Temporary - Event and Facility Attendant

This position assists in the banquet room setup and breakdown for various meetings and events.

$ per hour

• Participate in the banquet room setup and breakdown for various meetings and events.
• Assist with audio visual set up and break down.
• Dust and polish furniture and woodwork.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep floors, and move furniture when necessary.
• Empty, clean, and line waste receptacles.
• Wash windows and walls.
• Maintain and repair equipment.
• Various janitorial duties.
• Continuous cleaning of facility inside and out to include but not limited to; public space areas hallways, offices, restrooms, and entryways to facility;
  Also includes upkeep of both outdoor patios and window cleaning.
• Demonstrate the ability to take instruction and promote a team environment.
• Perform other functions as requested.

No previous work experience required. Banquet set up or audio-visual experience a plus.

Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying.

Special requirements:
Must be available to work weekends, holidays, shift work, and variable shifts.

Must be able to lift 25 pounds.

Must be able to be on their feet for long periods of time.
