The Los Angeles Equestrian Center (LAEC) is a one-of-a-kind 75-acre property nestled in the heart of Griffith Park, dedicated to horses and the equestrian community. It hosts boarding facilities, training arenas, and events ranging from local competitions to prestigious showcases.
Responsibilities- Participate in all aspects of the conversion process in preparation for events, including setting up and tearing down flooring, portable chairs, operable walls, barricades, staging, tables, furnishings, and equipment.
- Perform day‑to‑day operations such as loading/unloading delivery trucks, transporting trash and waste to appropriate disposal areas, and replenishing supplies.
- Assist with pre/post event cleaning and janitorial tasks: sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, spot cleaning, washing, stripping, carpet cleaning, window washing, and waxing.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as painting and patching.
- Report irregularities, discrepancies, damage, loss of property, and safety concerns promptly to supervisor.
- Utilize machines, supplies, and equipment to clean the facility.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Knowledge of event setup conversion practices and cleaning/maintenance techniques.

- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1–3 months of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
