Glendive Medical Center is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support the day-to-day operation of facility systems and equipment. In this essential role, you'll help ensure a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, and building systems throughout the facility. This position plays a key role in supporting patient care by ensuring all systems operate reliably and safely.

What You'll Do

* Perform preventative and routine maintenance on facility equipment

* Maintain boiler systems, heating systems, and HVAC equipment

* Monitor and service emergency generators and electrical systems

* Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and operational issues

* Maintain maintenance logs and documentation

* Identify and report safety concerns or equipment issues

* Assist with general facility upkeep and repairs as needed

Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required

* Boiler Operator 3rd Class license (State of Montana) required

* Valid driver's license with clean driving record

* Technical training or vocational school education preferred

Skills & Abilities

* Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills

* Knowledge of building systems and industrial equipment

* Ability to follow safety procedures and regulations

* Effective communication and teamwork

Physical Requirements

* Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

* Comfortable working on ladders and in varying environments

* Ability to work indoors and outdoors

* Frequent walking, bending, and physical activity required
