Position OverviewThe Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, and building systems throughout the facility. This position plays a key role in supporting patient care by ensuring all systems operate reliably and safely.
What You’ll Do- Perform preventative and routine maintenance on facility equipment
- Maintain boiler systems, heating systems, and HVAC equipment
- Monitor and service emergency generators and electrical systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and operational issues
- Maintain maintenance logs and documentation
- Identify and report safety concerns or equipment issues
- Assist with general facility upkeep and repairs as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Boiler Operator 3rd Class license (State of Montana) required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Technical training or vocational school education preferred
- Strong mechanical and problem‑solving skills
- Knowledge of building systems and industrial equipment
- Ability to follow safety procedures and regulations
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Comfortable working on ladders and in varying environments
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors
- Frequent walking, bending, and physical activity required
